The modest fashion week in Paris by Think Fashion fashion show provides a different color for the global modest fashion industry. More than 30 brands from various countries such as Turkey, Russia, London-UK, USA, France, Qatar, Kuwait, Indonesia and more exhibited their works from ready to wear to haute coutoure.

Each designer has their own interpretation in providing a definition for modest fashion. Cultural adaptation, street style, and history are strong influences in each collection. A Serbian brand Sedzda couture brand with an intricate couture design with details, playing with gold colors, cutting clothes that are firm and stacked look very luxurious and dominant at the Modest fashion week Paris. Another case with Nada Puspita, a brand from Indonesia that released a ready-to-wear collection with soft colors, loose cuts and floral dresses as its mainstay, one of those inspired by street style is the Parisian brand, Soutoura. A ready-to-wear brand inspired by hip-hop style and young people’s street style, dominant with bold colors with a collection of hoodies, 1 set of loose pants and sweaters, and oversize shirts with midi shirts that are very easy to mix and match.

From the audience side, there were many rows of influencers who were present from various countries, such as Jasmine Omar from London, Skiiz from the Netherlands, Sisi da Silva from Paris, Eva Isaeva from Paris, Selin Selma, Seher, Maryamour Paris , Lyla Bouaziz Al Zazair and many more.

Scarf Media is present as a media partner at this event and of to support for the modest fashion industry which is increasingly accepted globally and inclusive. Hopefully next year more Indonesian designers can participate and be part of this global modest fashion movement. (TS)
